for an interview in English followed by a book signing of his latest book Bournville

in partnership with Penguin Random House and Gallimard

 
Through his fictional sagas and political satires, Jonathan Coe has been depicting the deep mutations of English society.
 
Jonathan Coe rose to international fame with What a Carve Up! His novels have won prizes in the UK and abroad, including the Writer’s Guild of Great Britain and the Costa Novel of the Year.
Particularly popular in France, he has been appointed Officier de l’ordre des arts et des lettres. His novels have been awarded prestigious prize including the Prix Medicis in 1998 for The House of Sleep and the European Book Prize for Middle England.
 
His latest novel Bournville is a profoundly moving, brutally funny and brilliantly true portrait of Britain told through four generations of one family.
